Women in Insurance is committed in the journey to becoming more sustainable. By using the guidelines set out by Ecovadis, we will be working towards the accreditation. The goal is to reduce paper consumption across events and improve recycling rates, curb food waste and alter menus with an aim to include locally sourced, organic produce. We have also committed to deliver carbon offsetting at events wherever possible and provide delegates with accessible venues. We will be closely evaluating each event and considering how we can improve in the following areas; energy, transport, water usage, recycling, economic and local environment/community.
Incisive Media are proud members of isla.

The Women in Insurance Awards will be using TRACE to measure our carbon footprint. The TRACE platform helps you measure and minimise carbon at live, hybrid and digital events.
Sustainable events are more achievable with recommendations to shape decision making in planning stages. TRACE is the definitive carbon measurement platform for sustainable events, brought to you by isla, the industry body driving events to a net zero future.
In December 2023, PPHE formally committed to setting emission reduction targets through the Science-Based Target initiative (SBTi). With this commitment to SBTi, PPHE pledged to set a near-term emission reduction target for 2030 and a net zero target for 2040. The commitment is now public on the SBTi website. We are currently developing the two targets, which will then be validated by SBTi by the end of 2025.
